ICEDE. argentine
The ICEDE is a respected think tank consisting of distinguished academics, practitioners and other international experts in the field of human rights and religion. The group has been meeting annually since 2010 to study issues of concern, and has periodically released consensus statements summarizing their analysis and recommendations.
A primary aspect of the ICEDE's work is to ensure that religious freedom has the highest possible visibility on the world scene. To that end, we hold congresses, regional conferences, national symposiums, and local meetings—all aimed at making sure issues of religious freedom remain high on society's agenda.
For despite the importance of international covenants and national legislation, without public support for religious freedom, any gains remain at the level of theory rather than practice.
The ICEDE publishes a journal, REVISTA CAT EDRA , which presents excellent articles on religious liberty from experts around the globe. Our team is invited every year to give lectures at universities and churches, to write articles, and to give interviews on radio and television.
The ICEDE does not identify with any political party anywhere, nor does it endorse candidates for political office. The ICEDE has no paid staff; officers and directors serve voluntarily. Funding for ICEDE operations comes from organizations supportive of the association's purpose.

REGIONAL CONFERENCE
The 4 IBCM conference (IBCM4) was held on 25 June – 1 July 2007 at Missionshaus Bibelschule Wiedenest, near Cologne in Germany, at the invitation of the German brethren. It was attended by over 100 German brethren and sisters and by about 300 leaders from 76 other countries/parts of the world. The total participation was by more than 410 people from 77 countries/parts of the world.

The IBCM5 Conference was held
on 13 - 17 June 2011 in France - at Strasbourg on the River Rhine in the east of France.
The purpose of the International Brethren Conferences on Mission (IBCM) is to bring together every four years the national leaders of local churches connected with the Brethren movement across the world for spiritual reflection, fellowship and, we pray, renewed experience of the Lord. The overall goal is the mutual encouragement of leaders in the movement in the different countries. Thanks to the remarkable outreach of Brethren churches and missionaries over the last 150 years, there are congregations related to the Brethren movement in over 120 countries in the world. There are more than 30,000 such congregations with an attendance of perhaps 5 million people each Sunday. In some countries, these local churches have seen remarka-ble growth in recent years, both in terms of numbers of churches and overall numbers of people involved. In other countries, there is decline or numbers are small. Because of the nature of the movement, over the past generation international contacts have been lost and some national groups feel isolated.
IBCM, and the regional conferences which it has spawned, are important means of rebuilding necessary international contacts for mutual spiritual blessing and encouragement. In the conference we can see from Argentine Daniel Masuello, Jose L. Pla, Juan Carlos Ciccone, Luis Cejas, Perfetti, A. Benmaor.

COMPLEJO EDUCATIVO
EVANGELICO DR. OSCAR ABDALA.
En éste año se cumplirán 23 años del COMPLEJO ABDALA surgido por extensión del trabajo de la ICE BELGRANO 3819 (fundada a su vez en 1975) a iniciativa del médico Dr. Oscar Najli Abdala - que partiera para estar con el Señor el 2 de enero de 1999- y de su esposa Lydia Rozas. La obra fue canalizada a través de la Fundación Cristiana de Evangelización de Santa Fe que preside hoy el Pastor Roberto Engler e integrada entre otros por el Dr. Guillermo Piovano y por el Dr. Walter Galvez. Recordamos con cariño aquella guardería de niños Copito de Nieve primero y luego la creación de las escuela primaria y después secundarias por haberles visitada casi todos los años en el desarrollo del Programa de Ayuda de Alemania. Sin duda fue la labor fecunda y tenaz de un Oscar Abdala, que también presidió FICEA por casi diez años, que fue usado por Nuestro Señor en ésta obra educativa y de fe
LOS PRIMEROS CIEN AÑOS
ICE CALLE SALTA 2330 , ROSARIO
Marcelo Abdala y Robin Ingledew nos cuentan que la Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica en Calle Salta 2339 celebró sus CIEN AÑOS ininterrumpidos de trabajo para el Señor, el Sábado 15 de Noviembre a las 20,00 hs. en la “Sala de Luz y Fuerza”, calle Paraguay 1135. La palabra de ministerio y la predicación del evangelio estuvo a cargo del hermano Osvaldo Otero de Buenos Aires; Además participaron el Coro unido de las Asambleas de Rosario y un coro de formado por más de 100 niños de la Escuela Cristiana Evangélica Argentina, ECEA Rosario, de avenida Salta 2339. Hermanos de Rosario y alrededores y de todo el país estuvieron presentes en este grato acontecimiento

Los hermanos Abdala e Ingledew nos recuerdan que está abierta la inscripción para la Escuela Bíblica de Rosario en 2009. Esta obra de las iglesias iniciará su año 39º el próximo viernes 13 de marzo. Agradecen al Señor por su cuidado y bendición durante tanto tiempo en que centenares de hermanos estuvieron en contacto con la Palabra de Dios. Las materias que se dictarán cada viernes de 20 a 22 hs. son: Biblia, Teología, Historia de la Iglesia, Homilética, Hermenéutica y Geografía Bíblicas. También habrá cursillos especiales sobre temas de interés. El cursado anual terminaría el 30 de octubre de 2009. El ciclo completo es de cuatro años, pero se puede iniciar en cualquiera de ellos y completar el total. Como siempre la inscripción es gratuita y no hay otros gastos ya que las clases se dictan en las instalaciones del Complejo Educativo ECEA Rosario en calle Salta 2339. Alientan a todos los que deseen crecer en la gracia y el conocimiento de Dios a participar. No hay límites de edad ni sexo. Incluso será de provecho para los que aún no se han bautizado. Agradecen finalmente el apoyo y la oración de cada uno de ustedes.
